South Easton, Mass. – Le Moyne College freshman Rachel Strong (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference women's cross country rookie of the week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Strong, who has been honored as the rookie of the week after each of the three races Le Moyne has competed in, finished in 19th place out of 199 runners at Roberts Wesleyan's Harry F. Anderson Invitational on Saturday. Running on a five-kilometer course for the first time this season, Strong navigated the course in 19:09.7.

Following an off-week, the Dolphins return to action on Saturday, Oct. 12 at St Lawrence University's Ronald C. Hoffmann Invitational at 11:00 a.m.
