Nice bookstore in downtown Taos. Pretty big, has another level, so check it out, explore it.

The selection is pretty good, a mix of new and some used books. Prices are a tad high, but you could find something more interesting here.

Decent customer service, cute decor, cozy, various nooks you can adventure to check out.

As a bookworm this cute shop was a nice surprise as I exploring the cute streets near the Plaza!

This book store was full of surprises! When we first walked in, it looked like a cute, small little shop with two walls of books. Then when worked our way down that section, we turned the corner and saw a whole other section... and then there were stairs that took you up to a quaint section upstairs with some nice sofas for sitting and artwork to look at. I found the cookbook section up there and took a break from walking around on a very comfy sofa and read awhile.

We ended up buying a Calvin & Hobbes collection book that was displayed. I highly recommend this place if you're a book-lover!

This is a very cute book shop with unique and interesting books, they will also order books for you when possible, and the staff is kind welcoming and helpful.

Wonderful bookstore in the heart of Taos, with a nice atmosphere. Great place to get new readings ideas and follow the recommendations of the booksellers.
Bought Tommy Orange' " There There ". I had no idea he was from Taos (the bookseller told me he used to bus tables at the restaurant next door, his mother still lives here). Support your local bookseller!

We stopped here last month on a road trip. My wife was looking for a good book to read while we spent some time up in our cabin. The store is filled with all types of books, and has a nice little sitting area upstairs. The staff was friendly and helpful. These small bookstores always make me want to read more just by stepping inside them.

nestled in the John Dunne Shopping arcade is the new OP Cit Bookshop. Two floors of great books and great customer service.

Op.cit bookstore is beautifully run with excellent customer service. I love being in the store and especially like their poetry section. Bookstore staff is incredibly well read and helpful. Don't miss this bookstore when you come to Taos!

How this exceptional store doesn't have all 4-5 star reviews is beyond me. I never come to Taos without visiting this (almost) perfectly curated independent bookstore with a killer vibe and top-notch customer service. A trip to Taos without a trip to Op. Cit. Books is incomplete.
