This Microblading Case Might Be the Worst You’ve Ever Seen

The beautiful thing about microblading, the technique that deposits semipermanent pigment into the skin with hair-like strokes to create the look of fuller brows, is how seamless the results are—if done right. For this anonymous Australian woman, whose nightmare story has gone viral overnight, her results were anything but seamless, but quite possibly the worst microblading before-and-after pictures you’ve ever seen.

As first reported on Teen Vogue, Twitter user chaeronaea posted a screenshot of a fellow member of an online makeup group’s dreadful account of her microblading experience. The photo shows thick, dark lines that do not have the same effect of thin, superfine strokes that mimic eyebrow hair. To the woman’s dismay, she is the recipient of a poorly executed microblading treatment. In her post, she says she is “completely shattered” and asks for advice on whether she can have the ink from the botched job lasered off.

To ensure you don’t end up with the second-worst microblading results, make sure you enlist the services of a professionally certified technician. Although semipermanent means it doesn’t last forever, you can be sure this woman with the now viral eyebrows is counting down the days until the remnants of her poorly tattooed eyebrows are gone for good.
