About Cody

With so much of the world to see how can one decide to live in one place? My thrill for adventure led me to tour two countries on two wheels. Riding solo, across the United States and Ireland, fed my independent, free spirit. Yet, having traveled the world on motorcycles and in helicopters, I found there is no better place to live than Virginia.

Originally from a small town in upstate New York, I sought adventure, a sense of purpose, and a desire to serve others, so I joined the Marine Corps. I went on to serve nine years as a helicopter mechanic and crew chief, receiving Combat Aircrew Wings. I was first stationed in Okinawa, Japan, traveling to places like Thailand, the Philippines, South Korea, Guam, and Iraq. Some of my favorite experiences, while serving abroad, were walking the black sands of Iwo Jima and climbing to the top of Mt. Suribachi. In my last six years, orders sent me to Quantico, Virginia, to serve with the Presidential Helicopter Squadron, HMX-1. Again, I was fortunate to travel all around the world to South Africa, Brazil, and visited well over half of the United States.

From my perspective of the world, with endless panoramic views, literally, from above and snaking through back-country roads on motorcycles, it did not take long for me to decide Virginia is where I wanted to plant my roots. After my first year of living in Virginia, I walked into a CENTURY 21 New Millennium office; met with an agent, and told him I want to buy a house but did not know where to start. I was overwhelmed by the support I received, the mentorship, and the knowledge gained throughout the entire process. When buying my first home, at 21 years old, my interest in real estate was sparked and caused me to start following housing market trends. Unbeknownst to me, at the time of that meeting, my experience of buying my first home, and the relationship built with my agent would inspire me to become a real estate professional and REALTOR® myself.

The standard of how a real estate agent should be was set high for me. I heard horror stories from others about their experience with agents and buying a home. When comparing my experience with others, things I thought an agent should do or is normal behavior turns out was exceptional service, above and beyond the “norm.” From the joyful, excitement-filled, stress-free experience I received when buying and selling my homes, I felt I needed to ensure others received the same dedication and exceptional service. When I decided to become a real estate professional, it was an easy decision to join CENTURY 21 New Millennium, to which I was a client. Because of my values, morals, and dedicated service to others, it was important for me to join a team whose ideals and outlook of service fell in line with mine. Therefore, when invited to join, my agent’s team, Price, Rich, and Associates, of CENTURY 21 New Millennium, I jumped, without hesitation, at the opportunity to be part of a team that, truly, always has the best interest of their clients in mind.

I am not just your REALTOR® I am your resource. Whether it be providing information on local schools, things to do in communities, restaurant recommendations, or referring the best vendors and service providers, I am here to help beyond just your real estate needs. Having done renovations to my own homes, I have gained firsthand experience being able to point out flaws, areas of concern, and what to look for when searching for a home. As well as, helping you improve the value of your home in the most cost-effective way possible.

I believe there is a difference between a house and a home. As your agent, I do not want you to settle on a house. My goal is to help you find a home you will love for years to come; no matter how long it takes. Whether you are a first-time homebuyer or bought and sold a few, I am a patient, no-pressure agent. Home buying and selling is not just a transaction, it is a process. A process in which I am with you every step of the way; available day and night to answer your questions and be there for you in any way I can. I understand that, for most, home buying and selling is the largest financial decision you can make. Therefore, I take the responsibility of helping you buy and sell your home very seriously. To my team and me: It’s Personal. Your Home. Our Promise. Exceeding Real Estate Expectations.
