A welcome reissue. Unfortunately, the record lacks dynamics. Maybe because of the original recording?

In these days when the giants are profiting on making 180g represses of their full back catalogs it's a surprise to see that this hasn't been repressed yet. Anyone know why this hasn't happened yet?

Bought this album blind, only because I had heard "La Ritournelle". So I had high hopes, expecting a full album of the "La Ritournelle"-vibe, and beyond. Boy was I mistaken. "La Ritournelle" is THE stand out track on this album. A song beyond songs, so gorgeous I cannot even describe it. The rest of the album is utter, cheesy, popcorn shite. Avoid.

The strongest album of the first half of 2004 in the world of french pop. Of the more purely electronic tracks, Ketchup Vs. Genocide is definitely the highlight. Unfortunately, the Mr. Oizo collab., La Tuerie, is the weakest song of the batch. But a madly esoteric collection of inspired music, this album remains.
