Klatuu barada nikto! This one of a kind paper model of the intergalactic police robot Gort, from the 1951 classic sci-fi movie, "The Day the Earth Stood Still" activates in the presence of violence. He is 15 inches tall and is made to be in scale with 12 inch dolls.
This purchase is for the pattern and instruction only. You will need card stock or other material, access to a printer, scissors or a craft knife, and glue or tape. The pattern will be available immediately for download once you finish your purchase. Included are some additional instructions for creating Gorts moving visor.

Pepakura eliminates the need to tediously study confusing instructions. You can see a sample in the listings photos. In one window you see the finished model, and another you see all the pieces. By simply pointing and clicking it highlights individual pieces and shows you exactly where they are supposed to be glued to each other.

The templates and instructions are supplied as a PDO that is available to download as soon as you complete your purchase. Simply download your PDO and Pepakura (the free program linked above) and print the templates on normal thin cardstock. Regular printer paper may be a little too flimsy but it can still be done. Photo paper and gel Krazy glue is recommended.
I’ve organized the templates so that they are COMPATIBLE WITH BOTH A4 AND US LETTER PAPER. This model is relatively difficult to make and like all papermodeling it takes some patience. I offer both a lined and lineless template.
