Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall has become widely known as a writer and broadcaster for his uncompromising commitment to real food and honest home cooking. His series for Channel 4 television, including ‘A Cook on the Wild Side’, ‘TV Dinners’ and ‘The River Cottage’ programmes – have received wide critical acclaim and a huge popular following.

As a recipe writer, restaurant critic and commentator on modern food issues he has written for the Guardian, Independent on Sunday, Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Times, as well as appearing on BBC’s Question Time and Channel Four News.

Hugh lives in Dorset with his wife Marie and their son Oscar.
