Killiney Hill

Killiney Hill

Killiney Hill Park was named a public park in 1887 by Prince Albert Victor of Wales, a grandson of Queen Victoria, in memory of their throne anniversary. The hill was called Victoria Hill in those days. Previously, the park was part of the estate of Killiney Castle, now Fitzpatrick’s Castle Hotel.

Beautiful forests and a phenomenal view are the main features of the park from its highest point – here you can also find The Pyramid and The Obelisk – overlooking Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountains.
