A man in his 30s has died after getting into difficulty while kite surfing at Dollymount Strand in Dublin this morning.
Gardaí were alerted to the incident shortly after 9am.
He was removed from the water and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to the Mater Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out at a later date.
