The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe star is all grown up and looks extremely different

IT’S been almost two decades since The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was on our screens and character Peter Pevensie explored Narnia with his family.

Actor William Moseley was cast in the role, and was 18 when the film was created in 2005, but now is setting pulses racing in recent pictures.

The actor is now 35 and caused quite a stir among fans with his appearance in TV series The Royals on E! alongside Elizabeth Hurley.

He starred in the American drama series from 2015 until 2018 in the role of fictional playboy Prince Liam across three films.

Speaking about one iconic scene in Prince Caspian, which saw Peter in conflict with Caspian, William said: "That was epic. You know, Andrew wrote a scene where I have to jump on a horse and get out of the castle.

"I was really nervous, actually. I had a week to prepare the vault onto the horse, but it worked fine, they gave me several takes. I wanted one take, and I did it in a split of two takes, but it worked fine in the end.

"The emotional scene at the end of that… I’d worked with an acting coach in New York six months prior, so I was very prepared to go into it. Ben Barnes did an excellent job in that scene, so it’s easy to work with him.

"I think Andrew was very clever with that movie because he put the rivalry of the two boys against each other — you know , the ego of the two young men. They had still a long way to go to become good leaders.

"They were good men, but they weren’t really good leaders yet. So they had to learn to be good leaders."

Since starring in the Narnia franchise, he has been in a few indie films, including The Silent Mountain in 2014, Margarita with a Straw in 2015 and Friend Request in 2016.

Fairytale fans also saw him in The Little Mermaid, which was shown on Netflix in 2018.

As well his numerous movie roles, William has also been involved in the Stand Up to Cancer programme "Change the Odds" featuring a number of young actors.

William was born in Gloucestershire as the eldest child of three kids, and was recommended for the role as Peter Pevensie after he worked as an extra in TV show Cider with Rosie.
