Picturesque Tipperary lake lit up for Christmas - why not visit and support a good cause too

Festoon lights surround one of the most Picturesque Lakes in Ireland, Bay Lough, situated on the Waterford/Tipperary border, known locally as The Vee.

Petticoat Loose Christmas Do 2022 Committee are very proud to announce this years fundraiser to support St Carthage’s Rest Home in Lismore, county Waterford and Saint Theresa’s Hospital in Clogheen.


Festoon lights surround one of the most picturesque lakes in Ireland, Bay Lough, situated on the Waterford/Tipperary border, known locally as The Vee.


A massive thank you to East Cork Oil who are proud sponsors of this festive event in conjunction with Breeda’s Coffee Pot.


Special thanks to Nicholas and Barbara Grubbs for their continued support and assistance with regard to running this very unique and festive fundraising event.


Please come along and view the lights and our fully lit Christmas tree which is afloat on the centre of the lake from 5pm each evening and runs up until January 6 2023.


Relax in the tranquility of Bay Lough, feel free to walk down to the lake as the newly surfaced walkway is now pedestrian and wheelchair accessible. As always, your support and generosity is greatly appreciated.
