Only few steps away from the Jardin du Luxembourg and Panthéon, the elegant Haussmannian style building is located in a dead end small street, providing a peace haven in the very lively Latin Quarter. Sigmund Freud used to stay there at the end of the 19th century. Across from the hotel and listed as a historical building, the hotel particulier of Madame de Maintenon is where the illegitimate children of Madame de Montespan, King Louis the 14th’s mistress, were raised. Packed with history, the hotel offers a warm and cozy environment with a soothing design.

Just returned from 5 nights at this hotel, and I have to say it was a gem to find! The hotel itself was great. Someone on hand at reception 24/7 to greet you and help if needed. We stayed in a comfort room and it was a very good size, with a small balcony. We slept great - the bed and pillows were so comfortable, and the rooms have blackout curtains so I imagine great during the summer months. The bathroom had all toiletries you may need, as well as a hairdryer and a towel warming rail. The small kitchenette was also a nice touch, being able to make a hot drink or use the fridge.

Location wise it was ideal. Literally less than 2 minutes walk from the Luxembourg RER station on line B. Which means you can get the RER straight from the airport to the hotel for only €11.80. It is great for sightseeing around Paris as you can can connect to the majority of main tourist attractions with 1 quick connection from the RER B. The area around the hotel has some great amenities - several lovely restaurants nearby, plus a minimart and a boulangerie 3 doors up from the hotel so very convenient.

If I return to Paris I won't bother trying to find another hotel as I can't imagine how any other could beat this one on quality, price and location. 100% recommend!

Wanted to include the review here as well even though we booked through Booking.com. Usually ratings on Booking.com are very accurate. I usually book at least 9.2 hotels. It's hard to find those hotels in Paris unless you are willing to spend $$$$. Don't pay attention to this hotel's rating. It was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in in Paris. It is in a fabulous location, very close to the Luxembourg RER station. Extensive renovations were completed just this month. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was chic and modern. Bonus is the elevator and A/C. Don't miss the Korean restaurant that is only steps away. This is now our go to Paris hotel.

Our stay at Hotel les Jardin du Luxembourg (rooms 201 & 202) in February 2022 was a pleasure. The hotel is newly renovated and the rooms, although city size, were well laid out and beautifully furnished, extremely clean and very well kept. The staff took great pride in serving their guests and were there to help with any thing that we needed during our stay. The hotel is tucked back off a busy street but situated in a very quiet spot so no need to worry about city noise keeping you awake at night. Many thank to Gregory and his staff for making us feel at home. We’ve already booked our next visit.

I recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Its location, just around the corner from the RER B Luxembourg station, is perfect for getting to/from CDG Airport. The neighborhood is also an easy walk to the Latin Quarter, St. Germain, and Notre Dame, although the immediate area seemed quiet and not particularly "exciting."

The hotel staff members were very kind and helpful, especially Alice (I hope I remembered her name!). I enjoyed a delicious and generous savory breakfast (sweet crepes are also an option) cooked to order and served in the ground floor dining area. My room was clean and quiet, with a small balcony.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It is so quintessentially Parisian. The lobby is lovely and the rooms were clean and so very pretty. One block away from the Luxembourg Gardens, just a couple minutes walk from the Pantheon and Sorbonne, it's location is perfect. The staff were so friendly and communicative, having sent emails prior to arrival to arrange our check-in time. They even provided us with a list of recommended nearby restaurants and offered to make dinner reservations if we needed. Our room was cozy and because of sliding pocket-doors created two separate sleeping spaces for my husband and I and our five year old daughter. It also came with a small fridge, a microwave, and dishes with utensils. I spent alot of time researching Latin Quarter hotels prior to our trip and I am so glad we decided on this one. It was totally worth it. Parfait.

Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. We stayed only one night. We had a family suite. The service at check in and check out was friendly and very efficient. The suite was spacious and well appointed and not as small as expected. The room has complimentary amenities including several bottles of water and gourmet pop corn. The hotel is near good restaurants and key tourist attractions

A lovely hotel which is very clean with a good sized bathroom containing a powerful shower. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were lovely and accommodating. A bonus was that the room had a little kitchenettes which was great for breakfast in bed / preparing little snacks to have in the room. I hope to be back!

This unassuming hotel just off a side street near Luxembourg Gardens is fantastic. You are very close to an RERB station, making it easy to get from CDG airport or to a number of other metro transfers. Because it is a bit off the main boulevard, we did not hear traffic or other noises during the night. The staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of the attic rooms (superior double), which was plenty big for two people. The kitchen area is not really for make meals, but is great for making coffee/tea, adding some perishable items to the refrigerator, and having a convenient spot to keep your snacks. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom, while not large, does the trick. Overall, this was a very good stay in great location.

Excellent location and service. They have spacious rooms with large/king size beds that ought to be booked way in the advance. The rest of the rooms have queen size beds. Breakfast is served as a buffet like with the usual viennoiserie, bread, jams, coffee and tea. We have stayed there on numerous occasions, different times of the year, and we have never been disappointed!

I’d give 10 stars if I could! What a gem in Paris! From the start I had an excellent communication with the hotel. The family room is spacious enough, perfect for our family of four, bathrooms with two sinks. Spotless clean, soft towels and the bed is like sleeping on marshmallows, literally a dream. Breakfast is superb, make sure to order as you’re not going to regret it. Superb location, close to train station and Luxembourg gardens. Very attentive staff, a special highlight to the kind and lovely gentleman that was there most of the nights I stayed and checked us in (but I carelessly didn’t ask his name). I finally found our place in Paris, will sure come back.

Hey there - they were a bit on the smaller side. My wife and I slept in the double so my two boys slept in those 2 sofa beds. My eldest is approx 5ft 9 inches at the time and while he didn’t complain of it being too small, it did look a little tight. Having said that, the beds were super cozy.
