SATURDAY will be a Wacaday as children’s TV favourite Timmy Mallett comes to Stockton Heath.
The TV presenter and broadcaster has swapped a mallet for a palette to bring the film The Railway Children back to life to celebrate its 40th birthday.
Six paintings and three limited edition prints by Timmy were unveiled last weekend at Liberty Galleries in The Forge Shopping Centre.
And now the former Wacaday presenter will be making an appearance at the gallery from 3pm onwards today, Saturday.
A donation from any pictures bought will be made to the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway Trust, which owns and operates the line where the film was made.
