Everton cult hero Denis Stracqualursi’s footballing career has hit rock bottom in Italy.
The Argentine spent one season on loan at Goodison Park from Argentine side Tigre, making 27 appearances for the Toffees.
His crowning moment came against Chelsea, scoring the second goal after 71 minutes for his only Premier League strike.
With just two more goals and an assist to his name, David Moyes did not keep the forward on at Everton - but he earned a cult states for hard work on the pitch.
But Stracqualursi’s career has hit a new low during a substitute appearance for Italian fourth-division side U.S.D. Citte di Fasano.
Coming on with 15 minutes to go, the Argentine was making his eighth appearance for the Serie D side.
With his side bottom of the table and drawing 0-0 against fellow strugglers Francavilla, it was hoped the former Premier League player would make a difference.
But his only highlight was a crunching tackle on opposition defender Luca di Ronza - three minutes into his game.
Starcqualursi joined the Serie D club last December from seventh-placed Taranto, where he made just four appearances and scored one goal.
Speaking on his arrival, the 33-year-old said it was “impossible to say no to Fasano”.
With 17 clubs now on his record, though, that is probably a familiar statement for the forward.
Since leaving Goodison Park in 2012, he went on to Argentine side San Lorenzo before playing in Abu Dhabi, Ecuador and Colombia.
And his move back to Europe came last summer after ending a zero-goal spell with home club Atletico Rafaela.
One supporter commented on the video when it was shared on Twitter, saying of his time in Argentina: “He even missed a chance without a goalkeeper on the goal.”
His move to Everton was a Deadline Day decision 10 years ago, pushed through by Diego Maradona's former agent Jorge Cyterszpiler.
He had sent a DVD to Everton’s chief scout Tony Henry of Stracqualiursi’s highlights from a 21-goal 2010/11 season for Tigre.

But Stracqualursi’s move to Goodison Park does not make Daily Star’s top 15 most bizarre transfers in the league’s history.
