Two people have been airlifted to hospital in Cork after a serious collision in Co Kerry.
The crash, involving a van and an SUV, occurred on the N70 at Tullig Beg, Killorglin shortly after 3.15pm on Friday.
The drivers of both vehicles, a woman in her 50s and a man in his 30s, were airlifted from the scene to Cork University Hospital. Their injuries are described as serious.
The scene was examined by Garda Forensic Collision investigators and the road has since fully reopened to traffic.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them. Those with video footage, including dashcam, from the area at the time are asked to make it available to investigating gardaí.
