Antonio Conte says that Alexis Sanchez still isn't ready to start for Inter Milan, and he won't put the Chilean in the team "for the interest of individuals".

Sanchez joined Inter on a season-long loan from Manchester United this summer, following a dismal season-and-a-half at Old Trafford that was beset with form and fitness issues.

He came on for the final 10 minutes of Inter's 1-0 win over Udinese just after the international break, but failed to get off the bench in both the Champions League draw with Slavia Prague or the Milan derby victory on Saturday.

Speaking ahead of Wednesday's Serie A meeting with Lazio, Conte said Sanchez is still not ready to play in his side.

"For him it is worth the words I give for everyone else," the former Chelsea manager told a press conference.

"When I see ready players, they will be inserted [into the XI].

"I have to work in the interest of Inter, not of individuals."

Despite Sanchez's lack of action, Conte went on to claim that he is happy with his squad, including some of his new additions.
