A pair of Irish superstars have seen their chances of an appearance on I'm a Celebrity Get Me out of Here later in 2021 rise.

The hit show is coming back for its 21st season – and while there had been hopes of a return to the traditional Australian set for the 2021 series, the Covid pandemic has had other ideas.

While the UK has stormed ahead on the global table for vaccines, Australia is flagging far behind – with local and national lockdowns in full swing in the winter months Down Under.

But following the success of last years’ I’m A Celeb, Ant and Dec and a host of celebs will be heading off to Wales in a couple of months time for a couple of weeks of madcap fun.

And, if the odds are to be believed, Una Healy and Maura Higgins could be going to the spooky castle.

Ladbrokes have slashed the odds on the duo making an appearance in the show famous for the iconic Bushtucker trials.

The bookies cut the singer’s odds in half after a flurry of bets on Thursday and now make her 4/1 from 8/1 to feature in the I'm A Celebrity! line-up.

She is not the only Irish star on the show’s shortlist, with Higgins priced at 3/1, Greg O’Shea is 6/1, while Conor McGregor is a longer shot at 25/1.
