Much has been made of Kevin De Bruyne's dazzling season.
The Manchester City playmaker has been hailed as the best player in the league - the assist king.
And while the Belgium international deserves plenty of plaudits in what's been a superb campaign so far for the 26-year-old, there's one man whose stats have been overlooked in the bigger midfield picture.
Step forward Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman's performance against Stoke on Monday night was a midfield masterclass which saw him notch up another two assists, taking him to nine already this season.
It's an impressive tally for this stage in the season - even more so when the number of games he has missed is taken into account.
Pogba has matched the haul of his City rival having played 13 games - 10 fewer than the Belgian.
His assists for Antonio Valencia and Anthony Martial in the 3-0 win over the Potters mean he now has the best assists-to-games record of any player in the top five European leagues.

He tops a list of world-class players which includes Neymar, who has nine assists in 14 appearances. Leroy Sane. who has been in blistering form for City, has nine in 21 Premier League appearances.
So why is Pogba not being talked up as a potential Player of the Year?
Take De Bruyne out of City's midfield and it still ticks. Guardiola's side would still be top of the league with the likes of David Silva, Sane and Raheem Sterling all capable of providing.
But take Pogba out of United's midfield and the side looks totally different.
That is less a slight on the players stepping in to replace him than an indication of just how good he is.
United's fluidity and domination relies on Pogba being on his game and after what many deemed to be a 'below par' first season back at Old Trafford, he is living up to that £90million price tag.
United have endured two spells without him this season, once when he was sidelined for two months with a hamstring injury and then again after his red card against Arsenal.

His absence on both occasions showed just how key he is to United's success.
His ability to dominate the midfield and his power and creativity in linking defence to attack, as well as his assists, mean there is a sound case to say he is on a level with the best in the world, never mind the Premier League.
Pogba changes games in a similar way to how De Bruyne does, but as United are so far behind in the title race it doesn't fit the narrative to wax lyrical about him being one of the best.
Individual honours often go - and rightly so - to players in successful teams.
But Pogba can show in the second half of the season that De Bruyne might not be be a landslide winner of the personal prize this season.
