Republic of Ireland star Troy Parrott snapped driving Kinahan cartel associate in car days after signing for Millwall

HERE is Ireland football star Troy Parrott driving a Kinahan cartel associate around, days after signing for a new club.

Parrott, 18, posted a snap alongside Nathan Little in a flash car on Instagram on Saturday, a week on from putting pen to paper on a year-long loan deal at Millwall from Tottenham Hotspur.

Little, 21, has been identified by the Criminal Assets Bureau as being a member of the Byrne Organised Crime Group in its successful case against major drugs trafficker Liam Byrne in 2018.

The BOCG is the Irish branch of the Kinahan Cartel, a global drugs and arms empire which is headed by Dubliner Daniel Kinahan and investigators believe to be worth at least €1billion.

Parrott has also forged a relationship Liam Byrne’s son Lee Byrne — who has no criminal convictions and no involvement in crime — and has been snapped with him enjoying themselves together on numerous occasions.

Parrott, who also has no involvement in crime, and Lee went abroad together on a trip to Dubai in February while the pro footballer was on his winter break.

'THEY ARE SOCIALITES'

Over there, the pair hung out on an exclusive yacht and were also pictured alongside Premier League star and Troy’s Spurs teammate Dele Alli on a night out.

Lee Byrne — nephew of slain Regency gangster David Byrne — has also made visits to Spurs’ training ground in the past few years to support Parrott.

A source said: “They are socialites and love hanging out with professional footballers.

“It’s well-known that both Nathan Little and Lee Byrne are good friends with Troy Parrott. And it’s no secret — they flaunt this lifestyle all the time on social media.”

LOAN TO MILLWALL

Parrott moved to Spurs from Belvedere on his 16th birthday in 2018 and was awarded a new contract when he turned 17.

Earlier this year, he signed a new deal with Spurs until 2023.
He was part of Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team squad at 16 with a competitive debut coming against Colchester in the League Cup under the ex-gaffer last September

Parrott also made his Ireland debut against New Zealand in November last year under then boss Mick McCarthy.

Boss Jose Mourinho handed him three substitute appearances last term before sanctioning his temporary loan across London to Millwall for the new season.

Speaking after making the move on August 1, Parrott said: “I’m buzzing to get straight into things, I’m really looking forward to it.

“The crowd, the club itself - I’ve heard a lot of good things.”

LIAM BYRNE 'VERY TOP TIER'

In 2018, the High Court heard Liam Byrne is at the “very top tier” of organised crime in Ireland.

In submissions, CAB outlined Byrne’s links to Christy ‘Dapper Don’ Kinahan’s cartel.

It claimed: “The target of this investigation is the Liam Byrne Organised Crime Group — this group is aligned to the Kinahan Organised Crime Group and is involved in the importation for sale and supply of controlled drugs into this jurisdiction.

“The investigation has uncovered a system of money laundering used by this group.”

Byrne’s €1million Dublin house was seized by the CAB last year.
Byrne — who remains a target of the rival Hutch gang — has fled to Birmingham, UK.
