Too Expensive
Dwilly08· Review provided by homedepot.com · November 1, 2022
I purchased this as it was recommended that I use epoxy to seal a few small size cracks in my basement floor. This was the only epoxy I could find. It cost $33 and I end up needing 4 tubes since there is barely anything in the tube. It was also extremely difficult to get out and afterwards my 45 year old hands were in extreme pain. I even purchased a new heavy duty caulk gun. In my overall opinion, not worth it. I wish I would have took the chance with the $16 poly tube.

I picked this up to fill in hairline cracks prior to using ArmorPoxy. It doesn't have silicone so it's safe for use with 100% epoxy solids. Based on my experience, I have a few suggestions.

1. It requires a strong caulk gun. I picked up the a cheap one it took the force of two hands to get the product out. Don't skimp and get a gun with good leverage.

2. It mixes in the application tip, so you'll want to use it all. If you don't, that's OK, by you'll need to cut the tip off and mix it by hand. Not that big of a deal since it stays separated in the tube, but it adds an extra step for further uses.

Overall, it's a really good product if you have the right tools and expectations.

A little harder to apply than I expected. It required a stronger squeeze on the caulking gun handle than I expected, but my caulking gun might not be heavy-duty enough for this product. The material did a good job of anchoring the broken concrete pieces back together. Would try again with a HD caulking gun.

I used this product to seal the seam between a house foundation and a new(er) driveway pour. I think it worked out very well and the seam is nice and clean. I expect it will keep the water from running down the seam.

The only downside is that at almost $20 a tube, it's expensive stuff! One tube was good for about 12-15 linear feet or so. I needed about 1.5 tubes for my use and they are single use only because you wouldn't be able to reuse that spout after the product sets. You might plan in advance to have secondary driveway cracks and chips prepped so that you can use up your leftovers appropriately.
