This little 4' cypress tree was worth the wait. I see why it went viral on social media and has been sold out over and over again.
I love it's unique texture and sparse limbs as opposed to a traditional, heavy, thick, artificial pine tree. It will not hold heavy ornaments without drooping. So keep that in mind if you are fortunate enough to catch them in stock and get yourself one. It works for me because I am decorating only with velvet bows this year. But it could hold lightweight, plastic balls if positioned well on the thin limbs.
Additionally, the LED lights are very, very bright. Too bright since I am not adding ornaments to block some of the light. Uniquely, only half of the lights twinkle randomly, the other half stay on constant. It appears to be by design and is a nice feature, but might be less bright if all the lights twinkled. I've grown accustomed to the brightness.
I will use one of these trees year round because it doesn't necessarily look like a Christmas tree.
I love this little tree so much that I purchased a second one. Yes, I got lucky twice. Now, I'm just waiting for the 9' to come back in stock. October 2024.

Such a cute little tree! Assembly of this item was easy. There were only three parts to put together - took about 15 seconds without reading the direction. It was packaged well; the box is nice enough to reuse when storing the tree between holidays. The lights are adorable little twinkle lights. I cannot wait to have this in the corner for Christmas. The base is a cute weighted basket. The branches are a realistic looking plastic/silicone material. You can bend the branches to fluff it out and bend them back for storage. The only downside to this product is that if the base is manufactured crooked (like the one I received was), it makes the whole tree crooked and there is no way to bend it back straight. You cannot tell if you have the tree facing a certain way, but you can definitely see that it is crooked from the side.

This is my first experience with the My Texas House brand, but I have always adored the products I have seen so far. This 4' Pre-Lit Artificial Cypress Christmas Tree is so cute and I have always wanted something similar for my home. I really love the size of it because I think the 4 ft size is tall enough that it's noticeable, but not so large that it takes up too much room. When I first received this tree, it came in 3 separate pieces and had to be assembled. The two tree parts and the pot (which makes up the base) were all easy to put together and all you had to do was connect the two tree pieces and the base, then connect the two wires for the light strand together and you're good to go. One thing I really love about this tree is that while it's marketed as a Christmas tree, it really can be used anytime of the year. It's super pretty and the lights are spaced out evenly throughout the tree. I also like that the base is weighted to help prevent it from tipping over, but the base is empty looking from close up, so I'd recommend maybe adding some small rocks or pebbles to fill it the rest of the way. You could even fill it with moss or another item of your choice, too. One thing I was slightly disappointed with was that I felt the tree was a little sparse in some areas, especially near the bottom. I still really like this tree, and especially love that they did a great job making the pieces look and feel realistic.

There are three pieces to put together, very easy, clearly labeled. A goes into B, and then B is put into the pot. The branches are very soft, not your typical artificial tree. The other artificial trees are nothing in comparison to the feel of this Cypress pot Christmas tree. Very realistic. They are ultra- premium tips and they have that quality of being very realistic. The best artificial tree I have seen and felt. Looking at it from a distance it looks like a real tree. The size works well for me, I don't have room for a real tree and this will last many years. Much more beneficial to the environment. It comes apart easy enough, and I will keep the box it came in for storage.
This will stay up for the whole holiday season or longer. This is pleasing to look at and you know the feel of it adds to the whole effect. The branches can be adjusted to hang your ornaments on, this is just such a great tree to have for Christmas, the realness adds to the whole effect. You can have the next best thing to a real tree, but better because it can be used the next year also. There are the right amount of lights to light up the whole tree. The warm white LED lights bring out the perfect setting for your holiday decor! Worth having at an affordable price.
