February 14, 2023I bought this One Plus 8T in November 2020, in March 2022, one line appeared in mobile display, approached OnePlus store in Brigade Road, they told in the beginning that this due to some software upgradation glitches between Android and Google , surprise to note that this exactly comes after warranty period. For the same reason, I was denied replacing display, all other operations of mobile are excellent. I feel One + company is cheating it's customers by programming the software in such a way that these lines in display will come after warranty period only, which is totally unethical practice by the company. please be careful in buying One Plus, they professionally and cleverly cheating customers forcing them to buy another display by shelling out around ₹15000 again additionally. I'm a victim of these secret unethical practice of OnePlus company. I dare the company to come out with a detailed explanation for this unethical practice. And please note that my mobile also got the second line in the display. Hence, all future buyers, please be careful, have a second thought before buying OnePlus Mobiles

September 14, 2024The device was recommended to me by an IT guru and a friend of mine, that based on my tight budget and prior experience of owning an older 1+. Hence, - no surprises, - most important, no bad surprises which is always a lottery with purchasing used stuff online, - everything functions as expected. From purely technical point of view the only thing I would really like to have improved is the battery. ANY activity seems to drain it frightenly fast... And the biometric feature would make my life easier too. I am glad the device is not too big though 5T did feel cozier in my hand.

December 17, 2020Lets get one thing out of the way first: the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition has the same specs and features as the standard OnePlus 8T. Unlike the souped-up McLaren-themed versions the brand used to release, this snazzy new edition just focuses on a redesigned exterior and some amazing software perks. The phone has a lot of cosmetic touches to match the visual tone of the upcoming game, such as striking yellow accents and a Cyberpunk 2077 logo on the bottom of the phone. But the thing I cant stop looking at is its giant camera module, which encompasses much of the width of the back of the phone. The software gets some Cyberpunk 2077-themed touches as well, including a custom wallpaper. The phone also has two special camera filters, Night City and North California, according to OnePlus website for the phone. A lot of this phones specs are similar to the OnePlus 8T, though: it has a 120Hz screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 256GB of storage, 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and a 4,500mAh battery. There are other nice touches to give it a cyberpunk feel, like a scanning-effect animation for the fingerprint sensor (with an accompanying scan-beep) as well as custom cyber-chirps when you navigate in and out of apps. Fittingly, you cant disable Dark Mode when youve setthe 2077 theme - the game is set in a place called Night City after all. This is all to say that using the phone is lovely, with each little wink to the games world making it more engrossingly fun to use. Theyre the kind of cyber-styled whiz-bang effects most love to see in products tailored to popular IP, and theyd be very easy to add to other phones if OnePlus and CD Projekt Red would allow it.
Best Purchase of my Life

November 28, 2021I would give this phone 4.5 stars but unfortunately I can't do that here. This phone is seriously good: both in functionally and the perks given. OnePlus phones usually have that alert slider which comes in very handy. It has extremely fast charging because of the 65W charging brick and does not overheat from typical use and charging. The screen time I got was around 7-8 hrs and when I don't use it often, it lasted me around a day and a half. The Oxygen OS platform is easy to navigate through and doesn't have any bloatware preinstalled. Sometimes I experienced a few bugs like freezing or the keyboard showing up, but a quick reset always fixed it.
The phone itself is looks great, though I think it kinda looks like a knockoff Samsung Galaxy S20. It comes if a plastic screen protector which is sufficient enough to protect your screen. The display is really bright, so usually setting it to auto would get you the best brightness depending the situation. The camera quality isn't the best, but it's ok if you don't really care about camera quality. Overall, what you get for the price $499 is an extremely good deal. It is comparable to most flagship phones, but has some slight things taken out to compensate for the price such as no wireless charging and IP rating. I don't care about any of that though. I got the phone for only $371 so it was definitely a great buy.
