September 1, 2024Honestly there should be no 64gb version in existence at this point….when the average game is 20gb and iPadOS takes 10gb on its own. Basically turns this into a very expensive notepad. Even downloading YouTube or movies/shows is pretty limited at that point. Storage is so cheap the bare minimum should be 512gb with a 1tb as the “upgrade”.
I do enjoy the form factor and having options for the Apple Pencil. Of course the screen and hardware are excellent but this storage wars game apple plays is just ridiculous at this price point. Ip

December 31, 2021While not perfect, it is probably closest to perfect based on competition right now in both the Android and Apple space (previous generations).
The screen is vibrant, crisp, and displays content flawlessly (for a 60Hz display) and leave very little to be desired. The only complaint I have is that there are times where some touches may not be registered. It's not as responsive as say, other iPads that I've used in the past.
The form factor and size are fantastic to have a device that is not quite as small as a phone, nor as big as the typical full-sized 10'' and above tablet. With a case, the tablet is fairly durable and great to carry around wherever you are if you need to be connected, or just want to relax casually.
Battery life is also great- I don't need to charge it until a few days after using it moderately. Mileage may vary with different users.
Overall, this is a great tablet that I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a small form tablet. All competition out there especially in the Android space can't compete when it comes to security, features, usability, and overall quality. The only competition it may have with vendors such as Lenovo is battery life (such as the Tab M8).

November 17, 2022I had an iPad Air 4. It was great but the issue is; it fulfilled the same niche as my laptop (MacBook Air M1), it was just about big enough to do that and not small enough to comfortably use handheld. I sold that to my friend and bought this and I’m so happy I did. It is way more comfortable and it feels much more notebook like. It’s large enough for all my handwriting needs and to read and watch videos for my studies. I also like using it to extend my MacBook display sometimes.
It came in great condition from CeX (I bought condition B)
The only thing to be aware of is the battery life. Screen off and not in use it lasts so long, however - whilst in heavy use it drops to about 50% after 2 hours (so heavy use screen on time is probably about 4 hours). It sounds worse than it is because in reality you probably won’t use it for 4 hours continuously. It definitely gets me through the day for all of my tasks.
Would definitely buy from cex again after this experience. 10/10 recommend for someone looking for an iPad who is already happy with their laptop (of course if they’re looking for a laptop replacement they need a larger iPad that has keyboard support)

Cons:
Jelly scrolling effect can be noticeable
